What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Not using correct form and using weights that are too heavy. It is better to start off too light than too heavy.

What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
A huge mistake was focussing on isolation exercises rather than basic compound movements. There is no point doing isolation exercises if you do not have a solid foundation of strength and mass. When you are starting, your whole body is one big weak point.
