clmill79 Also, it's a good idea to do pictures in different poses at the beginning of the routine, towards the middle, and at the very end...at the least. Some people get crazy and take them every 1-2 weeks. lol Hey, whatever works for ya. =P I'm bad about getting photos done, but I'm by myself...so it take a little setting up. lol You would at least have someone to take the photos for you. =D Apr 5, 2010 9:32pm

clmill79 Sounds ok to me. Most important thing for any of us is seeing results from our hard effort. Best way to see short-term ones is to keep a log of everything. Body weight, body fat %, how much you do of every exercise, how you feel on the days you exercise. The Bodyblog here is good for all of that too, which is what I use mine for...been doing it since I pretty much started Round 2 of P90X. It takes a while to see major changes in your body, but it only takes a week or two to see it on paper. Apr 5, 2010 9:31pm

clmill79 , or with keeping journals of everything and tracking progress. I'd be happy to help you out wherever I can. I'm also pretty good at keeping people motivated, if you don't mind a little pushing now and then. *haha* Other than that, just set your mind to it, get in there, and get it done...every day. clmill79 That's how I had to start off, and I quit and started back up about 3 different times before I finally set into it...so don't feel like your alone there. =) If you need any tips on eating (P90X nutrition guide is a good start, just pick and choose what you like from the groups and make sure it's only what's allowed), or help with doing exercises (I was terrible at pull-ups, I literally couldn't do more than 1 unassisted when I started on Round 1) Apr 5, 2010 9:20pm

clmill79 Then, when I'm done, I stretch and take my post-workout supps (Cell-Tech and Whey protein shake). After that, I get my shower and then make dinner (chicken breast and veggies now). It's really all about setting up a plan on how you want to do everything, then tailoring it where needed, and finally sticking to it for a month...even if it sucks. lol Apr 5, 2010 9:19pm

clmill79 What do you do right now? For instance; I get up and make breakfast (cereal and banana), then off to work all day, come home and pop in my disc for the day and play a little rock/metal on my iTunes, take my Jack3d and set my kitchen timer for 20 mins, then I get changed and get into the mindset to get it done. After the 20 mins is up, I start the disc and do the routine to the best of my ability and put everything I got into it (as I'm usually pissed about something during the day lol). Apr 5, 2010 9:18pm

clmill79 Keep at it, man. It's worth it. Let us know if you ever need a little extra push. =P Apr 5, 2010 8:58pm
