I want to gain muscle and tighten my core I train hard but my stomach does not seem to go away. I want to lose the "love handles" and gain at least a flat stomach with some definition.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
My kids look up to me more. they like to see me fit and feeling strong my wife can't keep her hands off of me. People see me in a more positive way, I am a better example to other christian men.

I am a better example of a healthy parent. I am calmer now that I work out so I don't fly off the handle as much as I used to.

I need to get rid of my gut, I have a small hernia at my navel so I try not to push the stomach muscles too hard simply because I don't want to go in for sergery yet again. I had this fixed once already and got another right above the last one.

Workout Program:
I usually work out 3 or 4 times a week. I alternate I always do cardio of some sort for half an hour. Then I alternate workouts.

Legs/sholders
back/bicept
chest/tricep t

My total workout usually takes an hour and fifteen or so.

I am open to any suggestions that any of you may have.

I'm doing good working on my MA degree so time is pretty tight! Workouts are grate but the diet is kinda yo-yoing! Spiritually I'm enjoying the Lord as I pursue all that he has called me to. His peace and joy are abundant! How are you? I can't believe that "before" pict is you!!!WOW!

it is easy to fall in to the "wide path" when it's all around you. I was telling my husband that i have to be careful to "guard my heart with all diligence" b/c my conscience can become seared looking at the picts on this website. I have to remember that ultimately I answer to God when I lay my head down at night for the picts I post or those I could cause to stumble! I would rather hear "well done good and faithful servant" :) Great to meet you! Stay strong!;)
