How I Started:
I took a class in high school and it felt good. I purchased a used set of plastic weights and a little narrow bench. I quit smoking and could not sit still. I pulled the stuff out of the closet and started pumping. I devoured every article, book and magazine I could get my hands on. Eventually, I saved up enough money to join a gym. I beat the cigarette addiction, but replaced it with an addiction to the gym.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling you have when working out. I love the feeling after working out. I even like it when I am sore.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look in the mirror and I am never satisfied.
BB Accomplishments:
I entered a team in a 911 Fitness Contest. We placed second in 2007 and 2008.

Goal (Overall):
I want to lose fat and gain muscle. I want to be in the best shape of my life by the Spring. 216 pounds at single digit body fat!
Goal (Long):
I was always thin, but now I am older and have found the spare tire. I used a transformation contest and got rid of most of the fat. Now I want put on some muscle while keeping the fat off. I want to use this site for education and as motivation. I know very little about supplements, but am going to use protein shakes as snacks during the day and after work outs. I moslty lurk and have been able to find the answers to most of my questions by searching. I want to be 207 pounds at about 7% bodyfat by April 1, 2008. I would like to develope some good abs!

Okay....I know it is usually a "girl" thing, to talk about pant sixe but I have been wearing pants with a 34 waist since high school.  I have a pair of 36 pants, but they are way too loose.  The 34s seem tight though.

Leg day in the gym today.  I am one of the odd dudes that...

Cool. My buddy and I are both looking to get into law enforcement. Pickings have gotten kind of slim here in MD, so were both thinking about checking out of state and I mentioned Alaska. We went online and got some info and what we saw piqued our interest. How are you liking Missouri? I was born out there. :-)

I am in the COPS group, too and saw that you had been in Anchorage for 10 years. I was actually looking at some info abot their police force. How did you like it? Anything to keep an eye out for?
