I've always been a small guy. I played football in jr high and high school, as well as powerlifted, but I was more of a seasonal lifter. I never really got to serious about it.
My first deployment I had a lot of time on my hands. I realized that using that time to workout not only made me feel better and maintain my sanity, but it also started to transform my body and physique into something I liked to see in the mirror.
Why I Love It:
Over the past couple years I've developed a love for health, fitness, and training. It makes me feel good, and I'm able to help others achieve their goals.
How I Stay Motivated:
There is a lot that motivates me. My younger brother, seeing someone elses great physique, a song, or talking with friends about working out, etc. I guess what it all boils down to is the fact that I love it. That is why I have decided to pursue a B.S. in exercise and sport science as well as become a personal trainer.
I've always been a small guy. I can remember weighing in for a powerlifting meet my freshman year in high school at 92 lbs.
I don't like being small. My weight usually fluctuates between 168 and 173. I want to push it on up to 200 plus and maintain my body fat at 7-9%.
The "back to the basics" concept seems to be working quite well. It's only been a week since I started back to the gym, and I can already see and feel the progress. I will try to get some pics posted with stats as soon as I can.
