I've been messing around in the gym since I was a child. My father was an amateur bodybuilder, so we had a home gym. After years of working out and seeing no results, I finally witnessed a breakthrough during my senior year in college. Since then, I've been hittin' the weights a bit more regularly.
Why I Love It:
Obviously, I like the aesthetic aspect of the sport; it feels good to look good. Additionally, I enjoy the challenge of piecing together a diet, the right supplements, and an appropriate training regimen to produce my desired results.
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation tends to be the vacations that I take. I LOVE hanging out at the beach, traveling, and meeting new people; and, I always have another vacation that I'm planning which serves as a motivation for me to stay in shape and look my best.
BB Accomplishments:
I'm really pleased with my overall development. For a long time I felt rather discouraged because I couldn't see the results of my hard work in the gym. At 6'1", I found it TREMENDOUSLY difficult to put any NOTICEABLE size on my limbs; however, most recently, I've been able to fill the physique out a bit in pursuit of that amazing X-frame.

This pic was taken after 4-months of bulking. I'll post pics of my start point later. Surprisingly, I'm 221lbs. in this pic.
This pic was taken after two weeks of vacationing in Miami (hence, the tan). I dropped down to 220lbs.
What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
Immediately following my workout, I have a protein shake with approximately 48g of protein; a serving of Cellmass; 10g BCAA; and, 70g Glyco-maize.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Actually, my diet is the one thing that I REALLY need to hone in. Unfortunately, I just don't have the focus to really crunch the numbers and develop the plan. Therefere, I like to keep things simple. I always try to eat at least 5 to 8 times a day; and, at each of those times, I try to ensure that I have a portion Protein, Carbs, and Fats. I tend to place more emphasis on protein; however, I've recently discovered the - no crap - importance of carbs and fats to building muscle. I usually get my protein from chicken and turkey; however, I certainly don't mind beef. As for carbs, I tend to keep things simple usually eating mashed potatoes or rice. Unfortunatley, I'm not a big fan of veggies and only eat corn, green beans, spinach, and greens. As for fats, I LOVE peanuts (especially pistachios and cashews), and I supplement with Omega-3 fish oils and flax seed oil. Actually, my diet is the one thing that I REALLY need to hone in. This past week was TREMENDOUSLY challenging! The workload here in Iraq has begun picking up, with me working some pretty long days, and as much as I'd like to keep a "schedule", doing so is all but impossible! At any rate, I was determined to get in ALL of my workouts. So, even...

You have fantastic symmetry!! Keep up the amazing work and stay safe over there! I read your blog, my baby brother told me how hard it is to get the right food when he was over there too. But it sounds like your finding your way around the mess well! lol
Man, something I've noticed is we're never at where we want to be. Eh, its a gift and a curse. We always want more. Its fun though. I know I always enjoy the pursuit of perfection.
At any rate, whats your training routine looking like to get there?
