How I Started:
Have a little baby girl Caitlyn, now 2yr old, and besides my wife liking the idea of me being in shape, I have to start now to scare off all the boys my little girl will start bringing home one day.
Why I Love It:
Its, scary. Its like an addiction. I feel bad when I don't workout, and when I do, I feel great all day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Knowing that when I don't, I let myself down. Also, I'm trying to stay ahead of an old knee injury that keeps slowing me down. My goal for 2009 is to complete in a sprint triathlon.

I'm trying to cut body fat and gain muscle. Down to 162 by Feb 29th. Single digit bodyfat by April 18th. Weekly goal is 1lb off a week.
Goal (Long):
I carried 5% body fat in high school from all the sports I played. Trying to get back to that point but at the same time increase some muscle mass so that I don't turn into that skinny quick guy again. I coach a few youth soccer teams, and I need to be able to keep up with them.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 15 lb

Where do you find healthy recipes to try?
Bon Appetit (sometimes), Gourmet cooking, Men's Health has a few, otherwise, I come up with them myself with whats in the closet and fridge at the time.

Currently changing my 3-4 sets of 10 reps for the course of February and then into the first week of March with the same target muscles, and instead actually going 1/2 to 3/4 usual weight and doing 6-7 sets of reps for 50secs with 10sec rest completing one full exercise before taking 2mins...

It's funny you mention it, my wife is a bit jealous as well, but she has been really good about it. She knows the deal, no matter if I'm fat or skinny, she's out of my league and it's a miracle that I landed her! She is ready to deliver and get herself back to the gym, and when she does I might end up with a clone of 'buffmother' on my hands! Thanks for the comment! Keep up the hard work!

Good luck with the baby! I'm expecting a little boy anyday now, so maybe he'll be the one you need to scare away from your daughter! Stick with the plan and you'll find a way to make it work!
