How I Started:
I really got into working out in high school, and it helped me to absolutely transform my body. However, I took it to an unhealthy extreme at that time, becoming obsessed with being as "skinny" as I could, rather than focusing on being healthy and fit. Working out has been an important part of my life--though to varying degrees--ever since. I am very active and love the way working out makes me feel, but I am now looking to step up my training and refine my nutrition program to get my best body ever. I would love to begin competing, and at the very least do a photo shoot in my swimsuit and be excited about it!
Why I Love It:
I love the sense of accomplishment, with each completed workout, and with the results I see. I love that it really is possible to take charge and dramatically change your shape. And I of course love the endorphin rush!
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at pictures of myself, both when I'm in my best shape, and then when I'm not, and it really motivates me to stay on track. I have to remind myself that I am in control, and I have the power to reach my goals. Everything is a result of the decisions I make, and I have to do what's best for me!
