During my teenage years, I noticed that I had a propensity to gain weight, and by the time I was in my early twenties, I was overweight. In addition, a heart condition precluded my ability to participate in any physical activities and/or exercise. Specifically, I found out I had a WPW cosmetic heart defect. I was feeling physical pain and my weight which reached 200 lbs. made
me feel even worse when I was looking in the mirror. Something had to be done, and my best friend who worked out a lot helped me with my decision to start exercising.I started in 2004 with a program for fat loss and every two weeks I kept changing my exercise program. I lost the unwanted fat and am now on a muscle gaining plan.
Previously I was diagnosed with WPW syndrome, a severe heart condition. I'm currently healthier than ever and the heart condition is nowhere to be found.
Surpsingly, once I began my bodybuilding program, I felt a type of motiviation I had never before experienced before. I kept imagining the outcome I wanted to achieve and this motivated me to continue.
Why I Love It:
Years ago the great Shekespeare said: "-What a piece of work is Man"
I think God created us as perfect beings, and we choose if we should stay as that! (Behind which, lays a great work.)My "fear" of the gym has become a passion and addiction. I thought I had reached the stars with my transformation but then met a person who showed me how much more power I had inside of me, so I kept on going. I will always be thankful to Achim for the diet and training help he has given me.
How I Stay Motivated:
I get motivated readying success stories. Also seeing a great workout routine this is how I get my inspiration and the peace of good music. I always remember the sleepless nights in the hospital, when the doctors didn't give me any hope for life.
BB Accomplishments:
From 30% bodyfat, I reached 15.5% now. From 200 lbs. I turned to 141 lbs.
I'm one of the runners up for the Fat Loss issue of the Oxygen Magazine.
