What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
Unless your doing it to make yourself "sound" tougher then its alright and happens to me too sometimes.

Do you socialize while at the gym?

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?
A pair of shorts and muscle or t-shirt is what im wearin when i go to the gym. I get hot when im liftin and it keeps me cool.

Carbs are important if you want the energy to perform in any sport! E.g Sweet Potatoes and brown rice, oast. I also try to have a portion of protein with every meal apart from my breakfast. E.g egg whites, almonds, chicken breasts. I've got an example of my diet in my blog. At you age I was doing more running, circuit training and boxing than weights...which built me a good foundation.

At your age you could use my carbs too you are still very young and you'll need the carbs to add more mass. Quality carbs and complete proteins is the key spread out throughout the day.

Have a great 2009. Stick with the basics such as squats, deadlifts, bench press, and pull ups. Focus on good form! Lift three times a week no more than four. Eat plenty at your age but spread it out five to six meals a day.
