Background

When I Started: May 2008
HOW I STARTED:

Until my senior year of high school, I was extremely overweight (200+), but that year I crashed dieted and lost 30 pounds, for the next two years I continually lost and gained the same ten pounds, it was in May of 2009, that I decided to stop yo-yoing and make the lifestyle changes necessary to maintain my fitness goals.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love it when I run into someone that I haven't seen in a while and they barely recognize me. It's the most satisfying feeling in the world.

Motivation 7 Diet-6 Progress-8 Work-out 7 For the first time in my life, I have the start of a six-pack. My the top part of my stomach is flatter than it was when I was born. I never thought that I could change my body enough to really look fit, I just always assumed that I was destined to be the funny fat girl, but now I know that it is possible to change my destiny. I feel great today.

Motivation-8 Work-out-10 Progress-10 Diet-(-1) Today is the first day of a new diet plan to jump start my weightloss again. No more fruit at all and no more carbs after two. We will see how it goes, but I am sure going to miss my sweet potatoes at dinner. I did legs today, and for the first time I looked in the mirror and saw definition in my quads, now it is just a matter of getting the rest of my legs caught up with my calves.  I am trying really hard to just maintain my calves without building any more. It's really hard though, because my calves are my most defined muscle and I...

Motivation 8 Work-out 10 Diet 8 Progree 7 I had my first posing lesson today, it went not so great. I have a lot to learn, but thanks to Lorrie I think that I will be ablet to look like I can least fit in come competition day. The hardest part is definitely remember to keep the gut in and the shoulders back. Over the next week I am going to attempt to maintain the best posture possible at all times.

Lindsay23 Things are going pretty well! I'm busy but still managing to make it to the gym 6 times per week. With summer in mind, I've tightened up my diet -- no cheats till my birthday (June 23)! I've made it almost 2 weeks now without one. Longest ever! Haha. I can see it happening...very slowly which sucks...but I'm doing the best I can with what time I have. Still have a couple more weeks to shed as much fat as possible before my summer starts! Jun 10, 2010 6:39pm
