When I Started:
How I Started:
In short... "I once was lost, now I'm found, I was blind but now I see!" Amazing Grace! Anorexia...then bulimia....then ( when in recovery) major weight gain, this was, mentally, very hard for me!...I found relationship with my creator and my savor Jesus Christ and embraced my curves! I learned to trust Him! I am fearfully and wonderfully made! "HE formed me and shaped me," now I will be a good Steward of this body. I will do what I can to help it do what He created it to do and be! I've worked out since I was 13 but now I'm doing it right! I found that God created me with a natural physique for body building! Thank you Father God! Mesomorph! But, I will honor Him with my body!
Why I Love It:
It amazes me what God created this body to do when you put it to the test! I love how great I feel when I'm done! I love being a example of How God's grace abounds in everything!
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying focused on, as Paul says,
"the race set before me" "Pressing on to the prize with endurance" Yea, study Paul's writings in Galatians (in the bible)you WILL get motivated in more ways than one! I am dead serious when I put God first I can take on the world! "Super human" strength comes from him! I give props to the Holy Spirit!
BB Accomplishments:
Working out hard and eating right during pregnancy..... Had all natural child birth no problem!! NO DRUGS!! 1 Push! The curse of "increased pain in childbearing" (Gen 2), was broken through the blood of Jesus and obedience to the command to labor in prayer and taking care of the body! Sorry, I have to give God the glory!
Forum Signature:
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"
Become the leanest strongest woman of God I can be while, not compromising my convictions!
Goal (Long):
I want to help others realize their potential Spiritual power , Soul (mind, will, and emotional) peace, and Bodily strength for the Glory of God...Philippians 2:16
"Holding out [to it] and offering [to all men] the Word of Life, so that in the day of Christ I may have something of which rejoice and glory in that I did not run my race in vain or spend my labor to no purpose."
Personal Goal publish and /or write and model for a BB/ fitness magazine that doesn't compremize holiness and integrity! Short term: 13% bf and 130 lbs by July 4th, Great strength come from faith in Jesus! Also cleaning up my spiritual diet..."removing all that hinders me so that I can run the race and obtain the prize"...devoting more time each day for prayer and deeper study! By July 4th I want to be at the next level physically and spiritually! ( not religiously, but relationaly.. this means I want to know God better not just know more about him! And BE a better wife, mother, and minister!
1 Cor 9:22-27 (Apostle paul)
I have [in short] become all things to all men, that I might by all means (at all costs and in any and every way) save some [by winning them to faith in Jesus Christ].
23And I do this for the sake of the good news (the Gospel), in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].
( I love this) 24Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but [only] one receives the prize? So run [your race] that you may lay hold [of the prize] and make it yours.
25Now every athlete who goes into training conducts himself temperately and restricts himself in all things. They do it to win a wreath that will soon wither, but we [do it to receive a crown of eternal blessedness] that cannot wither.
26Therefore I do not run uncertainly (without definite aim). I do not box like one beating the air and striking without an adversary.
27But [like a boxer] I buffet my body [handle it roughly, discipline it by hardships] and subdue it, for fear that after proclaiming to others the Gospel and things pertaining to it, I myself should become unfit [not stand the test, be unapproved and rejected as a counterfeit].
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 5 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
12%
Upcoming Contest:
Warring against wickedness of this preasent age!(eph5)

Do you have a significant other?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
It has the potential to hurt if I get my priorities wrong! If I keep my relationship with him as more important that hours of working out then my husband really enjoys "who I am"!

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
Yes, as a minister I often teach people the responsiabilty we have to take care of the physical as well as the spiritual.
no offence to anyone, but after a discussion this weekend and spending sometime in prayer, I decided it would be best that I not accept friend request form those whose profile picture may be questionable... by this I mean, if the photo borders on nudity, I do not want it on my profile, nor do...

I want to wish you success as you work towards your fitness goal. Too many people think it can’t be done and so they don't even try but you are proving that with hard work and dedication it can be. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless.
Remember:
“God didn't promise you a day without pain, laughter without sorrow or sun without rain.
But He did promise you strength for the day, comfort for your tears and a light for your way.”
good morning Tammie! I pray that God gives you peace with the choices that you have made that are best for you and your family. dont let the world tell you what you need to do, Gods plan is perfect and He loves you regardless of how you look! have an incredible day!
Hey now didn't Moses have a speech impediment yet he was a powerful leader of the Jews. When God is in the details even the whitest of teh white can dance flawlessly
Congrats on the baby! I love everything you have written on here! A social forum as popular as this one is a great way for God to speak to people through others, you are definitely capitalizing on that, good for you! Keep up the good work inside and out!

Hey there. I'm doing pretty well, except for a rough weekend with family flu (see today's blog). You still rocking the workouts as a beautiful Christian SAHM? Mine go well, but diet.......not so much. :-/
Thanks, got alittle carried away today but since I rarely have pictures taken I thought I should get a few in while I was in the mood if you will! What kind of surgery are you having?
you are so very very right! I struggle with things daily. I have learned to sing a praise song usually "my God is an awesome God" everytime I start struggling with the flesh and other issues!
Thanks for the reply. Doing good. Trying to get myself to the gym with a trainer to see better results. I workout early in the morning because it seems once the day gets going and don't have time between work and family. Sounds like you can relate. :) Keep with the workouts. I noticed I feel more energized when I do. Helps with the rest of the stuff. I will keep you in my prayers. Keep going strong in both areas! Great to hear from you.
