When I Started:
Jan, 2009
How I Started:
Tired of being out of shape and hating people who are in shape. I started working out in 2000 following a major (sympathy) weight gain while my wife was pregant. I started hitting the gym and lost 35 lbs and made some good muscle gains over a 6 month period. However, I have yet to acheive my goal body.
Why I Love It:
I love how bodybuilding allows the opportunity to transform my body and take it as far as I physically can.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by going to the gym and visiting fitness websites like bodybuilding.com. Also, I get a lot of inspiration from seeing the progress of others, like those in the transformation of the week.

Goal (Long):
My main goal is to get the fat off my body and developed well defined muscles. I plan to do this by focusing on losing body fat for 12-weeks and then spend another 12-weeks gaining muscle. Why I like this video: Without a doubt Ulisses Williams Jr. is one of my favorite bodybuilders. He has a natural look and excellent muscle definition. I aspire to look this good at the end on my transformation.
I have my sights on a new goal, which is to be a Bodybuilding.com Transformation of the Week http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/trans_m. htm. I often visit this page of the Bodybuilding.com site as it provides a great deal of motivation for me. I see regular guys who have made...
