I need some advice on what to expect when competing for the first time.  I planing on competing in the lightweight class in Madison, WI in 5 months.  What do I bring for the competion, how does it all go down, just any information would be helpful.

Dam, for the apt lifter, seems to be working well for you. Golds is ok, was there but my fav gym was fords in madison. Golds too much like a social club. Don t get me wrong there are some big guys in there but not the most willing to help out. Guess the gym that reminded me of fords was ultimate but that too has changed hands. Good luck getting to 3%, looking sharp so far
