Yes, those are average size people sitting next to me - shown for scale. This is me pre-hospital. Not sure of my weight here. Wasn't weighing myself at the time. Im sure I was pushing 400 lbs
Weight 340 here. After 3 months of training and tweaking my diet I have actually gained 10 pounds, but I like the changes I'm seeing. I have to give some props to BIGPOPSONSWOLL here on BB.com for his guidance and friendship. He has already been down the road I am travelling. Check out his amazing t ...
I just want to loose one measly little pound. And then do it again, 99 times.
Goal (Long):
My wake up call came while I was lying in a hospital bed in 2008. I was admitted due to a clot in my leg. I weighed 375 lbs. While there I learned that I was diabetic(2) and my triglycerides were 1000% high. I'm lucky to be alive and I'm not going to waste my second chance. Too much living left to do; too many loved ones to be there for.
I was in such poor shape that I could barely exercise. I started by just being more active with house chores and gardening. Then some light walking. I follow a moderate carb diabetic diet.
Lost 60 lbs by early 2009.
Summer of 09: I am finally in condition to seriously weight train. Lift 4-5 days/week, light cardio 3-4 days per week. Started some yoga for flexibilty. I have actaully gained 10 lbs. Doc says not to worry - replacing fat with muscle.
My goal is to give it my best every singe day. Then the rest will fall into place.
OK, all rested up after a week of hard training. Can finally walk up steps (lol). Ready to do it again this week. To the gym - Chest, Bis, Delts and Cardio!
Hey Tom Thanks!
Looks like you are doing an awesome job with your workouts and weight loss. Keep up the excellent work and keep me posted!
All the best!
I'm about 15 miles west of Exton (right on the Chester county/Lancaster county line), surrounded by farms and cows. I work out at home because the closest gym is about 10 miles away. I prefer it that way. If I decide to w/o at 6:00 a.m., I just go down into the basement.
Anytime you feel like dropping by feel free. Don't hesitate to give me a yell to talk, with questions or anything else for that matter as I would really like for you to succeed and will do whatever I can to be a resource for you.
It is really true, if you believe you will achieve.
I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting me on your most inspirational list. You don't know how much it means to me. It is people like you that keep me inspired as well as allowing me to believe that I can make a difference in people’s lives.
Stay strong, focused and determined & may God bless.
Man thanks for the shout out my brother. Truly truly I am honored. We are on this journey together to better our overall health. Lets live life my friend and turn back the clock!
Way to go! Keep up the great work. You have the perfect idea 1 pound, 99 times.
By taking smaller steps towards a larger goal, you are able to experience success much more quickly... and much more often. So instead of telling yourself you're going to lose 100 pounds within the year - try telling yourself you're going to lose 1 pound this week. Then do it.
Hey
Thats good that your waist is going down. That means your gaining muscle if your weights staying the same!
I hate legs. I feel like the soreness goes away much faster if you stretch after your workout.
Keep up the good work dude..
That is for sure my bro. I wanted to leave something on the mind with that vid. Plus a reminder to self. I'll be hitting the cardio early tomorrow and then its weights in the afternoon. Had sushi tonight so I'll post my numbers later on.
I just stopped by to wish you success as you work towards your fitness goal. A great exercise, cardio and nutrition program helped both myself and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) lose a significant amount of weight and look better than we ever have and in only 12 weeks. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell. I would like nothing better than to see you achieve all your fitness dreams. Stay strong, focused and determined.
