2012 my goal is to make this year my better year ever. I plan on reaching my physical fitness goal of dropping my weight to 175 lbs along with getting my body fat % low. to get my abs to show. To be the best I can be for myself and my family.

Background

When I Started: Jan 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I first got interested in bodybuilding from watching the superstars of the WWE. Then I saw a ad for Bowflex and thought it was a cool machine. So I saved up some money got a Bowflex. By this time I was tried of feeling like crap and it was not until I broke my ankle that I realize that I needed to take care of myself better. So I started using the Bowflex and was starting to get real interested in working out and the body building world. I enjoy workout on the Bowflex. and the feeling that I get after a workout. Now with each pay check I would buy a set of dumbbell or a set of weight for my bar. Slow increasing the weight every two weeks. I find it is the easiest way on my limited budget.

WHY I LOVE IT:

It make me feel good about myself and my wife loves the way my body looks and feel at the end of a workout.

XJesseX I've worked up to 30 minutes of straight cardio. Usually, in the morning, I have to start out on the treadmill until my range of motion is relaxed. If it comes free, then I can step onto the elliptical. On the diet, my wife is doing the Kris Gethin workout, so we're on basically ground beef, chicken, oatmeal, and brown rice. Not what he calls for, but hey! LOL! Sep 7, 2011 1:12pm

XJesseX It's going pretty good. It's getting easier for me to get going in the morning. My ankle is generally stiff for a good hour. I have been trying to do 30 minutes of cardio in the morning and at night along with a lot of calf raises followed by stretches on the calf. It seems to be really working out! How about you?
