I started in 1995, built up momentum and was working out strong. After 4 years I was down to 12% bf and feeling great. I dislocated my right knee doing barbell lunges in 1999 and quit. I'm glad to be back.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because it's a single person sport. I own my progress and have complete control over how I can shape my body. I am responsible for my results.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by working out in a public gym environment. Seeing others on the same quest strengthens my resolve and motivates me. I also like to watch inspirational movies like Rocky I-IV and Pumping Iron.
BB Accomplishments:
Keeping the momentum going this time around. I did accomplish the 12% bf in '95, but I was smoking,drinking and partying at the time as well. Now i'm doing this completely clean.

Currently taking part in the 2008 Cutting Contest. My goal is to go from 168.2 lbs., 26.3% bodyfat to 150 lbs., with 16% bodyfat. Want to lose 20 lbs. of fat.
Oh aight, i saw your quote and thought you were getting ready for a comp. I know what you mean about the holidays messing ya up. It happened to me too over the past 2 weeks. Back on track though and it feels good!

Thanks for the rating. Funnily enough in my previous weightloss attempts I'd never lose much from the lower half and I'd stay seriously pear shaped. this time around, I'm lifting heavy on all body parts plus working harder on cardio. I guess that could be it. my legs are stronger too, which is great because I'm back in heels again, lol! :)
