When I Started:
May, 2000
How I Started:
I have always been very active in sports, but in 2000 I was asked to train with a team for sprint kayaking. I trained at a national level with kayaking for 6 years, but had to retire due to chronic shoulder tendonitis. I now play rugby semi-recreationally, but would again like to train for rugby nationally. I am currently looking for an opportunity to do so.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel when I work out. I enjoy being healthy and feeling healthy.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated through sports, but also through my own body. I can feel when I haven't been working out as often or as hard and its not a feeling I like.
BB Accomplishments:
Not necessarily bodybuilding... But before my shoulder injury (and two other subsequent ones due to rugby) I could do 5 pullups with 35lbs strapped around my waist, I want to be able to do that again!

:( Side abs - Relaxed - 25% bf
Although I am still physically strong, I dont have the tone I used to. Hopefully it will all start coming back.
Abs showing through more and more, actual feel comfortable walking around without a shirt on again. Still at 25% bf...only 5% more to go before the end of summer ;)

Goals:
Main Goal:
Improve For A Sport
Goal (Overall):
I want to join a provincial rugby team, as well as become a stronger and more fit rugby player. I want to gain muscle mass again, so that I feel more comfortable with my body. I want to get to 18% body fat.
Goal (Long):
I love sports, they have always been apart of my life, and when I can compete at a sport and when I am successful I feel so complete. I am still fairly new at rugby, but I am a quick learner. I want to feel confident, so that when I walk into a game I am going to play well. When I retired from kayaking, I didnt have another sport to fall back on, so I gained weight quickly and lost muscle mass just as quickly. Now that I have begun to lose body fat, and now that I am back down to a size 5 from a size 9 I never want to go back to being overweight again. I want to keep being fit and looking good. I deserve to look good and feel good. I know I can go down to 18% body fat and become a fitter better rugby player through it.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 10 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
18%

Great to see a fellow Torotonian. Do you play rugby right now? I know it's not the same but I know of an Aussie female football team in T.O.
