How I Started:
Well, about 5 years ago I'd go to the gym every afternoon and I knew I wanted muscles. Of course they gave me a crappy routine. The typical routine for the average woman who is afraid of gaining muscle; so tons of reps light weight. I was headed to disaster goal-wise. Little did I know at the time about the protein intake and so forth. I went for a whole year without seeing the results I wanted. I've always enjoyed going, though. Now I'm back on the game, doing what I like and KNOWING I'll see the results I want to see this time.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel really good, alive. It also makes me feel special because I will not have the body that the media imposes and I like making statements of that sort. And my body will still be beautiful, even more beautiful than the one the media sells.
How I Stay Motivated:
Coming back here every day keeps me motivated. YOU keep me motivated. Knowing that there's people out there that are working out. Also, I know this shouldn't count and that I'm doing this for myself, but this helps in the motivational department. The fact that I want to prove my gym's trainer wrong. I can lose fat without being a cardio bunny and starving AND I can build muscle being a vegetarian.

One month and a half into my workout... kinda two. My weight is the same hasn't changed and I have A LOT of body fat to lose. Upper body and lower body seem from two different people.
Probably not the best aiming, but I didn't have many options since I took it myself alone...
