I want to reach my goal of 5% body fat within 3 months.
Goal (Long):
I have never been a naturally lean person. Living in Miami and growing up in a Cuban household, fitness and nutrition were the last of my priorities. Up to the age of 13, I had never participated in any organized sports. During this time, I developed a voratious appetite for chocolate chip cookies and my diet through middle school consisted of cookies for breakfast, lunch and a heavy meal for dinner. By the age of 14 I had balooned to the weight of 185lbs!
In freshman year of highschool I joined the school's Army JROTC program and proceeded to lose 50lbs by my Junior year. My diet never particularly changed excpet that instead of only cookies for breakfast, I had bagels or waffles and for lunch I had soda and a Pizza with a cookie (what the hell was I thinking?!) Even though I was the lightest I had ever been in my young adult life, I had almost no muscle definition and subsiquently was just another skinny dude.
After highschool, I became the typical college student. i drank every weekend, ate like crap and slowly gained most of the weight back. Thankfully, along the way I started lifting weights on and off. Currently I'm back at my previous weight of 180lbs but I have more lean body mass than ever before.
With this in mind my goals are to cut down to 5% body fat within the next 3 months and be leaner and more defined than I have ever been in my life. I want to have six-pack abs, a defined back and fit into my old board shorts from high school...ha!
