Background
I was 165 lbs. in high school and played on the soccer team and swam. When I got to college, I met a friend who was on a football scholarship and we became good friends and he got me started. As I started to make gains/progress, I wanted to become more than just a weightlifter.
I love going to the gym and entering "another world." One where everything else doesn't matter and for that time, you're completely focused and dominating the weights. I love seeing my progress and reaching my goals. It also makes me appreciate being healthy enough to do what I love, being an up and coming bodybuilder. I love having a bond with my friends in the gym and seeing/helping them reach their goals as well.

Mike is an incredible athlete and an even cooler more down to earth guy. His experience and insight into weightlifting, nutrition, and supplementation have given me more guidance than any magazine. I always look forward to lifting with him.
ETERNALBERK
Mike has been my buddy for almost 2 years. We worked together as Personal Trainers. He is always helpful and motivating !! I injured my back after watching him doing crazy deadlifts period lol
LChurchin
Mike pushes himself inside and outside the gym and works hard at keeping himself on track with his workouts/diets. He knows his potential and works hard everyday to reach that and more. But most importantly, he's a genuinely great guy and a great friend.
LeOliveira
Mike inspires me because we had a chance to be real close friends and no matter what obstacles came across his path 1 thing that he never let's get affected is his training, and he's had many.... He's always looking forward to improve himself in every way possible and always willing to help others even when he's the one that needed help the most! He's just a great person and friend.

Build Brutal Legs
Posted in Training : Mar 23, 2011 11:58amHere's a great article from one of my favorite sites, T-Nation. It's a great site to get diet and training articles from! I tried this workout, and got a great pump! For the next time, I would adjust the weight, since I know the base line for myself now, but every few weeks, this is a great workout to blow up the wheels!!!
