When I Started:
Jan, 2008
How I Started:
I got married in November of 07'. I was not happy with my weight at that time but was so busy planning that I didn't have a minute to breathe let alone work out. I've decided now that it's time to change. I quit smoking in December and started working out in January. It's a new beginning!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it makes me feel great. I'm excited when I see the progress I've made. It gives me something to look forward to.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband keeps me motivated. He's a little hard on me at times but if he wasn't, who would be? He really gives me that extra push that I need.
BB Accomplishments:
I love to work out my chest. My biggest accomplishment so far is benching 95lbs. It doesn't sound like a lot but to me it is. I really enjoy trying to move up.

So, a short summary of what I've been doing. I got married in November 2007, I quit smoking after 10yrs in December 2007, I cut off 13 inches of my naturally curly hair in January of 2008 and decided to change the rest of my life! I have started working out very diligently since then. I strive...
Thank you! It feel great to hear! Whats funny is once i had my mind set.. there was no turning back.. it was actually really easy... which leads me to believe.... its all in our heads what we chose to do...
Congratulations on all the great things happening in your life. Stopping smoking is such a super step in a better lifestyle. Remember that losing weight is not the "ultimate" goal but living health is.
You have to just believe in yourself. Sure you can "cheat" but by doing so just brings you that much further away from your goals. It's not worth it. Bikini or a kitkat bar. You can make and beat your goals. I know you can!
You'll be able to shed those 20 pounds (per your goal) in NO TIME! Just keep motivated. If you need help, just let me know. I'm not a trainer but everything I've learned is from this website. All you need is right here. Let me know if I can help. GOOD LUCK!!!
You will always be beautiful no matter what you feel about your weight, but you can make your fitness dreams come true and possibly sooner than you think. I lost over 50 lb’s going from 36% to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Challenge yourself and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur. Let us know if we can help.
