When I Started:
Nov, 2005
How I Started:
I've battled alcoholism, I've been sober since January 3, 2005. I found myself weighing 235 pounds and about 30-35% bodyfat, I also smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day. I was completely depressed and contemplated suicide frequently. I put my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and my life has never been better, I've been body building since November 18, 2005, and I plan on entering the kingdom of heaven as BUFF as possible.
Why I Love It:
It's the release at the end of my day, the calm after the storm if you will. I like to use my physique to inspire others to make changes in their lives.
How I Stay Motivated:
I believe that mind, body, and soul work together. I'm going to school to be a substance abuse counselor and I'm getting a 4.0 right now, I try to keep my body looking better and better every day, but it would be pointless to be the most intelligent and best looking person in hell. That's why I think it's imperative to live for the Lord, Jesus Christ!!!!!!!
Amen, brother. Captives will be set free. Broken hearted will be restored. Wounded will be healed. You got it! (Great job on the build, too. LOL Tho' that pales in comparison. Ps 147 (?) The strenght of man is puny in His sight... He loves the heart--or something like that! LOL)
Excellent progess you've made Bro. The Bi's are really awesome. Keep it up man! Also, congrats on your sobriety. That's a major accomplishment that your can be very proud of!
The Lord is gracious and compassionate- with Him all things are possible- your story is truly amazing and inspiring and it was incredible to read! Congratulations!!! :):):) My faith is also strong and it is encouraging to see how the Lord has touched your life- and given you more than you could ever think or imagine! Many blessings, Sarah.
