Background

When I Started: Nov 2006
HOW I STARTED:

To go where I want to go, I have to become greater than myself.... It's scary looking up the mountain knowing you have a long way to go to the top, but with a little heart and some friends to keep you going you'll get there!

WHY I LOVE IT:

It feels great! The rewards of an active lifestyle are well worth the price you must pay!

Ya.... not really..... our temp high today was the low 20's, makes for a rough run when you're getting more motion moving sideways slippin' and a slidin' than you are by running forward.  That coupled with sub-freezing temperatures crystalizing the lungs sure made for an interesting run:)  Oh well, like they say 'Toughen up, buttercup!' Why the rant?  Well, winter is usually one of the hardest times of the year for me to be motivated but despite everything that can make a workout go wrong or deflate the pressure to get up and go in the morning, we all need to remember that every...

That stuff is great!  That's about really all I have to say, but as far as a good balance of carbs/proteins/fats, it is by far a great investment.  I'll boil up a half cup of that and throw some chicken or salmon on top and voila! Tasty fare minus the heavy starch, carbs and sodium! And remember, if your ship doesn't come in, sometimes it's best to swim out to it instead!

Good for you, good for me! Trying to close in on a 300PFT is a sonuvabitch!  But anything worth having is worth busting your ass for!  Pullups are coming along, when I say "Im going to the bar" it's nice to know that means Im going to break a sweat and shred up some muscle!  Situps..... still suck, but there's nowhere to go but up..... unless you quit on yourself, then you're going to hit rock bottom..... but since quitting is for pu$$ies Im not going to worry about that prospect!  Then there's the run, today I busted out sprints at 400, 200 and 100 meters, two of...
