When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I got started working out because of a hip disorder that caused back pain.
Why I Love It:
I am still working on loving working out. I am starting to enjoy the feeling I get from seeing progress in my body. It is also pretty enjoyable being close to pain free as well!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated partly because my wife really loves working out, and partly to keep myself healthy enough to play with my kids.
To live healthier and have a nice 6 pack for next summer.
Goal (Long):
I have made working out part of my daily routine. I get up at about 5 am and go before work. My main goal is to keep this routine and have the results follow as they may.
I have been in quite a bit of pain since my business trip in late June. I had figured it was from not working out for a week and being on the road for a week. Now I am not so sure. I went to the doctor last week and am going in for X-rays this week to see what is going on. It's...
Yeah... I'm a little apprehensive to start the program... the weight training part because I usually get lethargic about half way through, but I picked up Scivation Xtend to see if that helps me out a bit. Will report back if I experience a miracle, or anything remotely close to it!
That's right... So today, I am starting another program to help me work towards my fitness goals. The last one I used, I didn't find challenging enough. So now I'm getting into "12 Weeks to your Future Physique" by the one and only Kris Gethin. It looks solid, and like something where I will be able to attain measurable results... what do you use?
Well... who's to say I won't be moving to the the pacific northwest in the future? I'm just trying to get back onto my feet here, and when things get a little better economically, I may still make the move. I really like it out there!
Not sure if you are familiar with Snohomish... but that would be precisely where I was going to live with my dad's sister. I didn't go, because the layoffs at boeing and microsoft seemed like it would make it more difficult to find work with all the extra folks in the job market competing.
