How I Started:
I got my first desk job in Feb. 2004. I worked for 4 months eating fast food for lunch, working 3 days a week... Sitting at a desk. I plumped up a bit (althought i was still scrawny). I felt something had to change.
I went to the gym with one of my friends, I probably weighed 155 lbs at this time. I couldn't even bench 95 lbs. lol! My family is NOT athletic. I had (have?) lanky arms and I'm 'knock kneed' ^_^
Why I Love It:
I start to feel like crap if I dont. I love the feeling of my muscles just being worn out and tore up. I love the pump! I love not being pudgy.
How I Stay Motivated:
When i look at other engineers my age who have some pudge on their stomachs. They dont work out and eat 'almost' anything they want. I look at the engineers in the 40's and tell myself "This is why."
That plus I love people telling me i look good.
I'm super shy meeting new people, so it helps to get a little noticed ^_^

Spring again! Last year I didnt update this site but i went all out and managed to increase my bench and dropped from 200 lbs in march down to my lowest was 173.
I'm now in great shape but id still like MORE. As you can see in my photos my lower back and abs need some work. Im going to 'TRY' to do more cardio. Especially in the mornings before I do anything else!
I'm the most determind I've ever been and I'm using the MuscleTech 50k Comp for *extra* motivation.
This week is starting my 3rd week on recreate. I really havent felt THAT much different being on vs off it. I definitely need to start focusing more on the weekends if i want to make more progress. Yes i need to cut the booze out ;) its so hard to not do anything in the evenings though. I need...

Heh, yeah, your older brothers or is it your dad that are not keeping as fit as you are? I am in the same boat. Bit older boat. But the same make and model. I have to shed 20 to get any kind of fitness going this summer. I'd like to get my 5k time in under 25 minutes.
