When i put my body fat % in to the system 4 weeks ago i put in 17.6%, however i have just bought some calipers and measured the %, it measured at 25%, i thought i must be doin this wrong, however i have just went out and bought electric ones, always a bit dubious about electric stuff but i tried...
Ok, so how do you feel on the program? Do you look better? Not losing weight may not be the worst thing - you might just be gaining muscle (which is WAY heavier than fat)!!! The only way to really tell is if your dimensions are getting smaller - get out that measuring tape. Sometimes it's just a case of you hanging in there and it'll drop all of a sudden. Just to check, are you logging everything you eat? The BFL journal is great for that. Keep in touch and let me know how you get on!
Hey Will, yes I did BFL. Sore means you're pushing hard-also remember that your body won't be used to this so everything will feel strange for a while. Week 3 was the hump for me then it became habit. I followed the program to a T and didn't stray. Do so and you will see some amazing changes! BFL was the one thing that changed my body like nothing else ever has. You'll see the results coming in a couple of weeks, and then they accelerate like crazy -go for it, you'll be glad you did! :)
Yup, I'm a BforL graduate. I did 3 official 12-week challenges and kept up the routine for over 2 years until I moved on to other routines. I followed the book to a T, which you should do also. The sore muscles is to be expected. That's the sign that your muscles are being forced to grow. Keep me posted.
One more thing, if you ever need motivation, come read my blog posts anytime you need to. The next 12 weeks of your life are CRUCIAL. Dominate BFL. Also, check out the group I am in, Body-for-Lifers.
Iam familiar with bill phillips and his program. The guy def. knows what he's talking about.
I followed his nutritional strategies before with good results.
Just thought I'd update my friends on here that I took a couple of days off the gym last week but I've been in the last two days, I started taking some supplements and have felt some energy boosts, seen some inch losses in the right places and generally feel a lot better about myself, check my profile for stats! And keep up the good work everyone! xo

Hi Will! Thank you very much for your friendship invitation, I appreciate it! I wish you continued success with your training. Please drop by if you get a chance - I enjoy learning about my new friends :)
Let me do a little research and get back to you. I'll see what I can come up with. I can tell you that if you are taking in 600grams of protein a day that is WAY TOO MUCH. Take what you weigh and that is how much protien you should take in a day. If you are wanting to gain muscle mass it's 1.5 grams per pound that you weigh, roughly.
