I got tired of being picked on and getting no attention from girls, so I decided to do something about it.
Why I Love It:
Every workout I have the opportunity to beat what I've done before, I can break a record I've set for myself, I can ascend to a higher peak.
Bodybuilding tests your mind, your will, your heart, and your body. If you are lacking in any area you will not have long term success.
How I Stay Motivated:
I know if I lose motivation, someone else out there will beat me. To be the best I can possibly be, there is no room for lack of motivation.

I think we are both making progress, she is 140 and leaner than she was at 132 and I'm 222 lbs and leaner than I've ever been at this weight.
8 weeks after major pec repair surgery. I can actually get my right arm up to the bar now, but I don't want to use it yet for heavy sets for fear of re-tearing it.
Alright I get it. People like sex and sex sells. But this is bodyspace. Not a hooters or a chip-n-dales calendar shoot! I understand boobs are part of figure and fitness, and hell even I appreciate a nice body but if you are into 'fitness' or on BODYspace don't you think your...
Hey Laine
How are you?
Hope your rehab is going well.
By the way, I'd like to ask just a few things about you...
Before the tear, did you notice one of the following?
Pain
Tenderness
or even
Loss of Strength
swelling
bruises
? ??

Hi there, give me a email if you are up for helping me out, im 16, 6ft 2 and 81kg and need a few tips about what training i should be doing. I have been pumping for about a year seriously. Thanks. Andy
Hey Layne im 17 years old and 170 lbs. I've been lifting for a while but have just started researching supplements, and i was wondering if Muscle Milk is any good, and what i should take post-workout, as i am having troubles gaining weight.
Layne... thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. I really want to stay healthy and your advice is pure gold. Praying for a full recovery for you bro. I'm getting ready for the Colorado State BBing Championships in July. Taking a natural physique to a very tough show. Can't wait!
Layne, I just read about your injury. I am so sorry to hear about it but I have to say your attitude is excellent. Do you have anything to say about the how/why that caused the tear? Any good advice to pass on to the rest of us so we might avoid it? Get well soon bro!
Honestly man I think its sweet your still finding ways to train legs, most Definetly doing squats still and that amazes me. Looks like something I would do, get my girlfriend to keep the bar steady while I lift haha, must have felt somewhat awkward to start off doing
Hey Layne
Heard about your pec tear.
Hope you the best !!!
I'm sure you will show us again that this may be the best thing that happened in your life because you can learn a lot from it; and + ... your legs are coming up in the meantime.
When you begin to train your upper body again, muscle memory is going to kick in and you'll have a more proportionate physique than ever.
Give it your all and you'll come stronger and better than ever.
HOLY CRAP @ your new bicep picture. Amazing work man, it inspires me to stay a lifelong natural when I see things like that. Continue what you're doing, and keep growing!
LAYNE,SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR INJURY** WISHING YOU A FULL SPEEDY RECOVERY!! **BEAUTIFUL POSE** WISHING CONTINUE SUCCESS AN ALWAYS ALL THE BEST**MANY BLESING ;) ~GINA~
Thanks for the add and best wishes for continuing and complete recovery, as well as an outstanding return to competition. I wish all the "newbies" would check your profile and posts before they start listening/reading anyone else.
