Adding strength and having a complete fitness level. I want to get to the point where I could compete in an amateur strongman competition.
Goal (Long):
Functional Strength and overall fitness. Power, strength, cardiovascular, speed, explosiveness..I want it all. I use a combination of techniques I read about and create my own workouts. I workout at home so I am limited in what I can do. I like the strong man competitions and want to have a good strength ratio for my weight.
Week 1 is over and I am dealing with a little soreness. I took a couple days off to recover and have totally changed my workout. I was doing a little research and decided on a whole new routine. I want the focus to be strength so I can eventually compete in an amateur strongman. I completed...

You can do it, i know it. when i do cardio i look for ways to make it fun :). I listen to music which helps the time pass much faster. let me know it goes for you!
I run a 4 day split...monday speed bench, tuesday deadlifts, thursday heavy bench and friday squats. I train with nothing but triples, doubles and singles. (except for speed bench)
My running has suffered! I lift a lot, but coaching little league, Spring outside chores and playing with my kids has taken a bite out of my running training!
To make cardio/running training fun, invest in an MP3 player. Time melts away when your favorite songs come on.
Endurance is so so...I have repped 225 for over 50 speed reps. I dont switch back and forth between BB and PL...so endurance is not much of a concern for me.
Feel free to add me. I made up my own routine where I train the main movement doing nothing but triples, doubles and singles. I then do 3 to 4 assistance movements for 4 to 5 sets.
