How I Started:
I was the fat kid. I swam and exercised, but ate terribly. I had to lose fat and gain muscle to play football. Started powerlifting my third year in the military. I've learned the most about my body over this last year.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel after a great workout. I love the feeling of sore muscles two or three days after a workout. And I love how everyday people uncover new and interesting workouts so I never get bored. Its the perfect hobby.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have to keep up with my wife. She is as competitive as I am, which is a great motivator. She really does look amazing which only makes me try harder to win at everything. So that... and making a new Ipod playlist really pumps me up. I make a new one about every month. Chevelle's new album is great for the gym. Its Rock music.
BB Accomplishments:
I have been consistently working out and staying healthy for 7 years now and will continue my fitness life style and eating right until I die and I don't shaved my chest, which I view as an accomplishment.

My goals until December... Move to NYC, begin Personal Training School, get PT certified, and work for one of the many fitness establishments (gyms) in the area.
Goal (Long):
Exercise and a balanced diet are now a huge part of my life. Thanks to my wife, who loves keeping her figure beautiful, I have 24 hour motivation sleeping next to me, staring me in the face. I do it because I love the feeling after a great workout. It rivals jumping out of a plane or riding a motorcycle.
After returning from deployment my twice a day fitness regime turned into a twice a week fitness walk-through.
My new three goals are less body fat, bigger arms, and better abs. Right now I weight 193lbs. I want to loose thirteen pounds by August 14th.
Thanks so much for the pic rating and the encouragement but most of all thank you for serving our country - my dad retired with 43 years in the military so I know the kind of sacrifice your family makes when you are out there protecting us all!
