When I Started:
Nov, 2005
How I Started:
When I started my new job, one of the perks was they had their own gym. So that meant it was free! Throughout the years I would join gyms and start consistent workouts. Then things would get tough financially, and I'd have to give up my membership. So, this worked out perfect. I found a couple of friends at work that wanted to satrt lifting too, so we all started. From November '05 to about September '06 I went consistently, started intaking a lot of protien, creatine, and I was taking a fat burner. Through that time I saw good gains, then I added tribulus to my supplements and saw even better gains. Then I lost my fire. I would go often enough to keep what I had, but not enough to build more. But I still intook the same amount of protien and calories which killed my mid-section. I started putting on the pounds. At this point in time, my wife was around 6 months pregnant. I stopped working out all togehter and started putting on sympathy weight. By the time my son was born my gut was the biggest it's been in years! It was time to start over. Right after my son was born, I started dieting and doing cardio. So far, I've lost about 15 pounds and I'm going to intergrate lifting back into my routine. I decided to start this profile as way to track my progress and stay motivated. Stay tuned if you want to see pics of my progress!
Why I Love It:
I love working out because I like the way I feel right after I lift. I feel more energetic and I feel better about myself. I love to feel the burn on my muscles after a hard workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
I usualy stay motivated by keeping track of progress. I usually track on paper my weight, how much I'm lifting, my measurements. But now with this profile, I can co it online!
BB Accomplishments:
My biggest accomplishment up to the point I stopped working out was going from 16" biceps to 20". I'm probably down to 17"-18" now, but hopefully I will get back to where I was and maybe more.
My goal is to keep losing my "extra baggage", get back to where I was and more muscle wise, and get more of a cut look.
Goal (Long):
I've always wanted to have a muscular defined body. Throughout the years, I've been working on it, but some reason or another I've always come up short. This last go around I came close to my goals, but got off track and lost motivation. But today is a new day. I'm gonna go at it strong and not stop until I get the resutls I want. I want to have lean six pack abs, cut muscular arms with an emphasis on my bi's and tri's, a muscular back, and strong legs. So, today 5/21 is the day I start.
