Background

When I Started: May 2007
HOW I STARTED:

Wanted the body I always dreamed of. Found this site 3 years ago and got really into it, working hard making improvements. Then somehow slumped into a 3 year stretch of laziness and put on 28lbs. Not sure what happened but there is no way I can let that happen again. I have learnt my lesson and now I'm back!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the fact that it is going to play the biggest part in my life, by feeling like someone instead of a nobody. Seeing the health and fitness and changes that are ahead is what makes it special.

Stejens was a big guy who sat on his pc all day, ate what he felt like with chip on the shoulder. Now a kind spoken happy go fun loving guy who has put in the hard yards and has made huge steps to better himself on a daily bases. He sets the goals and achieves them. Going Well

Posted in Training  :  Mar 04, 2011 3:09pm

I have been reading a lot into the nutrition and am now building up to 6 small meals a day. Starting the day with eggs (mainly whites around 3) and getting in my carbs and other protein sources building up to the workout. Having chicken breasts or beef in the evening and making sure to eat more green veg than others. A daily cup of green tea also.

Lost another 5lbs since my last post on winning that Slimmer of the Week and Month, and won it again last week for the 5lb loss :)

I think it will slow down now which is what i hoped, as i don't want to keep rapidly losin

Just got back from my weekly Slimming World group. I have been attending now for 3 weeks and absolutely love the new healthy way of eating, compared to my previous living on sandwiches mainly and eating junk food.

I received my award and certificate today for "Slimmer of the Month" having lost a total of 21 lbs in just 3 weeks!!

Eating Right

Posted in Nutrition  :  Feb 22, 2011 3:04am

Currently trying to have a 3 egg omelette with mushrooms and baked beans for breakfast.

Tin of sardines with a big helping of salad for lunch and 2 slices of wholemeal bread.

If i'm peckish then I just have something to nibble on like gherkins, or fruit. And I take a little milk each day for my calcium intake.

This plan is so that I can lose fat and hope to have what I need to build muscle too.

Captain Ahab I wish you success on reaching your fitness goals and I look forward to watching your progress. If I can be of any help give me a yell. Remember: The thing that contributes to anyone's reaching their fitness goal is simple. It Feb 19, 2011 1:06pm
