Comments: The experience was beyond what I imagined, Going in I expected to do well but not overall. I placed first in the Novice Middleweight, 1st overall Novice Champion and 2nd in the Masters Class 40 and over. It was very competitive and so close the decisions could have gone either way. I went in to the competition expecting to place well, the expectations went beyond what I could have imagined! Actually training was rather comfortable. Never hungry in my diet and never overtrained. The show promoter, Jerry Marsala ran a very tight ship. The only flaw of the show which was beyond his control was a small pump up room crammed to each corner with competitors. This was because of the design of the room and the theatre guidlines Jerry had to follow. The organization was fantastic, amount of competitors was a huge turnout, (70+) and the staff ran the show flawlessly! I would do another Jerry Marsala show any day!
