Get discipline and consistency! Then the physical goals will fall into place.
Goal (Long):
to be able to racewalk a marathon in under 5 1/2 hours, to do chins with my own weight for 10 reps, get the bf% down to the lower teens and to be fit enough to be able to do most activities with a moment's notice instead of trying to get into shape for it.
Chris' energy and enthusiasm is inspiring. He'll willing take you along ... no, he'll drag you along! :) ... on his journey to get bigger, stronger and in top shape and you have to alternative but to improve yourself when on the ride.
The idea is good ... the execution is poor. Major bugs in the code that maintains this section is really causing it to be too much of a headache or useable to me. Hence, I'm in the process of deleting all my mutural friends and folk's I'm stalking. I'll use the tried and true method...
Thanks for the advice. I am trying to keep my goals realistic. I'll be doing as you say and shoot for a minute at a time. I'm starting the 1 lb. dumbbells on Friday. Even there I'm taking the wiser approach. I may actually be getting smarter as I get older. :)
Thanks for the compliment lots of hard work but being in the military truly helps to reach my goal.Always great to see our generation live a healthier lifestyle. Hats off to you as well
I've got my mind set on entering the World Masters competition in Kamloops, BC in March for the 10 KM Racewalk.
The training is starting in about a week...still in planning stage.
