When I Started: Feb, 2008
How I Started: At age 16. Three kids, surgeries and a disability with chronic pain derailed me for ten years. I love working out and lifting weights.
Why I Love It: The feeling of strength, energy and the natural high. I do not feel exercising is work, it is a pleasure. I need it.
How I Stay Motivated: Looking at pics of my favorite male stars (Gerard Butler 300, Jason Statham,
LL Cool J, of course Arnold, Stallone and Corey Everson, Linda Hamilton, Madonna and my trainer Melissa. I also look at Transformations on bodybuilding.com
BB Accomplishments: In 12 months lost 35 pounds already, three inches off my body and toned my arms and shoulders and back. I have been able to run and do circuit training on my treadmill through my chronic pain now. Pain will no longer own me.

starting out yuch Looking Thinner!
This was after my last hospitalization for my chronic disability and IC of the bladder diagnosis. Pain ruled me. I could barely do anything but bicep curls with hand weights and only crawl on the treadmill. Pain owned me.  After 12 weeks of training hard, I feel like a million bucks!

Hi Stace - thanks for reading my blog! Yeah, those big macs have gotten me on many occasions! I've been able to swear off them, but chocolate is another matter! I like your Clean Slate Motto, hey - each day is a new day to get it right, right? :)

Yes, I have lost about 15 lbs. I eat about 2500 calories daily. But I eat eight strict meals daily. Breakfast is the biggest with about 600 calories. I have been doing this for about 3 months until I had surgery and will start back on Monday.

How are things with you? Maybe trying cardio twice a day might help also. I usually jog in the morning ang HIIT in the afternoon after my workouts. I do the HIIT about 4 days of the week but jog in the morning 6 days. Hope this helps and hang in there. It takes some time.
