How I Started:
I got tired of looking at my flabby self in the mirror every morning and last year I started going to the gym. Unfortunately it wasn't consistent. I would go for a couple months, then quit, then start up, then quit, then start up again. This time around I have promised myself that I am going to stick with it to improve myself physically and mentally.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel good after. I got to the point where I really looked forward to going to the gym and really felt guilty when I missed a day. I will get back to that point after the hurt of the first week goes away.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation is a tough thing for me. I guess talking with people that exercise often helps me get/stay motivated. Reading magazines, looking at pictures, things like that

My goal though is to get tone and feel good about myself. low self esteem is a bish.
Since starting my workouts mid august, I've been at the gym 5-6 times a week working on my physical appearance. Since starting, I've seen massive improvements in energy, my eating habits have changed and the guilt appears when I dont go to the gym or I know Im going to eat...

I was told about the Rock Hard Challenge in Muscle & Fitness and got motivated by that. It took me a while to get motivated to do it with the amount of time I had available to me but now my schedule has free'd up so I can concentrate on that.
