When I Started:
May, 1984
How I Started:
I started lifting my freshman year of highschool to get in shape for football. I have been at it ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love to work out, because of the way it makes me feel. I even like the soreness the next day.
How I Stay Motivated:
Sometimes it is tough to stay motivated. I always want to see results right away. Unfortunately it is a long term process. Being away from family and friends, weightlifting is what I look forward to for a stress reliever.

Welcome srfdog! First off I want to say Thank You for your service to this great country. I really appreciate all of you guys and keep you in my thoughts and prayers always. Second, it sounds like a good chance for you to hit the weights hard and work at sculpting your "new man". As far as the diet, I've heard its tough with what they have to offer, do what you can with what you have, keep that protein up. Keep us posted on all your progress.
