It's been a while since I updated my blog. The week before last, I was exhausted! I only worked out 3 days that week. I had been hitting my workouts really hard, and ran into a brick wall that week. I think my carbs had been too low for the workouts I was putting myself through. I changed my diet up last week, and I was back in business! :-) I decided to re-do Week 8 of Jamie Eason's Live Fit Trainer. It was a great week, and I definitely was able to see some gains. Starting Week 6 of the Body Transformation Challenge. Last week was probably my strongest, most focused week so far. I'm looking forward to another strong week this week. The two things I have to stay focused on are getting plenty of rest, and staying within my calorie limit. They pretty much go hand-in-hand for me. When I don't rest, I eat more. I hope everyone is having a really good week...eating clean and working out hard! This week has been one of my most focused weeks so far. Once I decided to start blogging about what was going on with me, I started having second thoughts about staying up too late, eating too much, and cutting my cardio short. I actually love cardio, as long as it's not indoors. Living in Iowa, winter is not an ideal time to be out running, jumping rope, or biking. It never ceases to amaze me how important sleep... UchihaMaadara Sorry it took so long to reply luv.my bday just passed so sad to say the will was broken and caution was thrown to the wind lol.i ended up not really doing anything and I lost the urge to want to workout that's why I ordered the c4 to give me that boost of focus so I can get back hitting the weights hard. justkeeptrying Thanks for the info! I will definitely be trying those exercises. Thanks for the feedback on my quads! Leg & glute day are my favorite days but I'd say that my quads really respond to front squats, narrow stance squats, leg extensions & body weight lunges to failure (try them in a parking lot or all the way around a track). You'll get there! Just like I will with my small shoulders. :-) Feb 19, 2013 6:33pm
