Overall Goal: If taking vitamins doesn't keep you healthy enough, try more laughter: The most wasted of all days is that on which one has not laughed.

When I Started:
Jan, 2005
How I Started:
I toured the country for 4 years being a musician. I spent most of my 20's doing that. At 28 I cashed it in. I was eating Wendy's everyday, and not being active at all. The thought of getting old was ridiculous to me. I was cashing in my dream of being a musician, but I certainly wasn't going to cash in the feeling of being young. There is still alot I want to accomplish. I won't let my health and physical level hold me down.
Why I Love It:
I like that my results depend solely on myself. I love how relaxed I feel when I'm finished. Training hard eases my mind and helps me think clearly. It relieves all my stress as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
Inner Competition. My physical age vs. what my body can do. It's a challenge. I never let my age win. I see these guys in the gym that are like 55 and look AMAZING! They invested so much of their time and life to staying fit and healthy. I admire that.
BB Accomplishments:
My abdominals. I didn't have them at 18, I certainly didn't have them at 23, but at 30 they are clear as day.

Here's my summer cut program. I shoot to FAIL between 9-11 reps. If I do more than that, I add weight and do another set. My ab routine is a separate split from my main split, so I'll explain that after. In any case, here it is:

what's new man? long time dude. how's lifting going? if that's a new avatar, definitely staying jacked and great striations in the upper chest and delts.
Yo Spot, checking back on your progress- you've added some serious definition & size since May! You still on the workout plan in your blog? Add any incline or decline to chest? After seeing your progress, i've got some catching up to do! Great job, man.
You've leaned out nicely. I don't think you need to cut too much more if any more at all. I agree with you about the declines or you could try doing dips leaning forward... either way filling out your lower chest would look better. Lookin good though, bro; keep it up.
Fantastic progress. Pecs are rounding out and you have nice, lean vascularity. I agree with your quote "I never let my age win." I feel the same way (am 34). The minute you stop, your one day older. Stay ahead of the game!
