Um, have I started yet??? Just kidding. It's patchy at best but the membership at the Y helps.

How I Stay Motivated:
The support on here from all my bb friends is great, really helpful. Oxygen magazine is great too. But mostly I love feeling like I can do it...like I am not a total bust in working out.
BB Accomplishments:
as of today my major personal accomplishment is running 3 miles straight. I don't have any major bodybuilding accomplishments...but I'm working on it.

Goal (Long):
As of right now I am just focusing on eating cleaner than I have been and watching portion sizes. I would also like to make some progress with my workout routine. I'd like to be able to run 5 miles straight, treadmill or not (most likely treadmill though) by sept. 1st. And the other goal is to fit into that favorite pair of LEI jeans finally! (oh, and look GOOD doing it!!!)

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Not very long usually because I want to get through my workout and I hate to lose momentum. Plus, I feel like if I am not sweating constantly I am not working hard enough.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I try to do 6, 8, 10, 12--varying the weight each time. It's a bfl thing and it seems to work for lots of folks.

Jillian Michaels. She is my hero! She is lean, but strong...not wimpy looking at all. That's how I want to be...a lean, fit, strong woman.
