How I Started:
I got sick and tired of feeling fluffy--needed a change.
Why I Love It:
One word: Adrenaline!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
My kids are a huge motivation for me, but also I really want to see what I can do--how much can I lift, how far can I run, can I really achieve 14% bodyfat? Just gotta find out!
BB Accomplishments:
As of today--stepping up and saying I will join Julofthenile and Lovejones in trying to acheive a 6-pack (abs that is!) and also joining the 6 week fight the fluff challenge that tlcinwdm started. In 6 weeks I hope to have a new accomplishment!

Alright, I'm going for a 6 pack by the end of summer. Might as well jump on that train and see where it goes!
Goal (Long):
I am a single mother of 6 young children. Yeah, wow, I know...get it all the time. I also get..."you look great...for a mother of 6" I want to delete the end of that statement. I want to hear "OMG, you look amazing!" period. I want to lose the excess body fat I have carried all these years...funny thing is that though I now weigh less than I did when I graduated from high school, I am actually 2 sizes bigger! Fat definitely takes up more room than muscle.
Ultimately my body fat % goal is between 14 and 16%. I really want to increase muscle mass in my upper body (would love to develop a great V-taper!) and tone my lower body (runner's legs are just the best!) For endurance I would like to see if I could run a half marathon by the fall (OMG, did I just put that out there as a goal?!) It's a dangerous thing setting goals, for you never know where they will take you!
How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Not very long usually because I want to get through my workout and I hate to lose momentum. Plus, I feel like if I am not sweating constantly I am not working hard enough.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I try to do 6, 8, 10, 12--varying the weight each time. It's a bfl thing and it seems to work for lots of folks.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Jillian Michaels. She is my hero! She is lean, but strong...not wimpy looking at all. That's how I want to be...a lean, fit, strong woman.
This week has been a hum-dinger! I had to make a very tough decision on Thursday and I really really struggled with it--in fact, it took me until yesterday to make my final choice.
I have been laid off--temporary, and they said they would call me back in 60 days--ok, but I hadn't...
Thanks for the add and the sweet comments :) I do my blogs and videos to try to share what I have learned over the years. If I can do it, you can do it! I'm around if you ever have any questions & I'm always available for that 'kick in the pants' (lol)
thank you for all your kind comments! :) I'm glad that i can encourge and push you! That makes me feel better! remember through the test, comes the testimony! :) be blessed!
HI Jean (Jean is one of my J's in my name)
Hope your week is going well and you are closer to seeing those abs. I know mine are stubborn, but I will win this time.
Look forward to your progress on Friday.

Apparently, this whole 'eating clean' stuff is good for the muffin top! I've only been on it for 2 days, though, so the top is still muffining. ;) I hope you're having a great Day 3!!
