When I was 19 I had a friend that was a bodybuilder, he was Mr. Minnesota Natural, who got me interested in lifting. I quit for about 10 years until a gym opened close to me and I decided to join. The passion started all over again!
Why I Love It:
I love muscles! I feel empowered when I lift weights and see my hard work paying off.
How I Stay Motivated:
I continue to make short term and long term goals for myself. And I keep a picture of myself at contest time on the refrigerator!

I did it! I competed at the North Americans and I'm glad I did. Now my goal is to go back to a maintenance diet without gaining too much weight. I also want to focus on my arms and shoulders since I was no competition for my competition at this show. I definiately need a lot more size if I want to continue in this sport!

Doing great! Working with Shawn Myszka at EEA. Love working with him! Lots of great results:) My show is NANBF USA's in Chicago, October 27th. I decided to compete NPC next year, but we haven't discussed which show yet. I will be at the Northstar to cheer Emmy on too! What are your plans for next year?
