How I Started:
Fitness has always been a part of my daily life. For years, I worked out 12 to 20 hours a week, mainly cardio, long-distance running and aerobic classes. I enjoyed the endurance work(the food too!) and learned to accept the extra pounds.
I had no idea that what I was doing was actually FORCING my body fat to stay on! Then, I discovered...weights! (why was I SO scared of them?!!)The 1st thing I would have to do is 1000% change my diet.( I was only eating 2 large meals a day) After only ONE WEEK of perfect clean diet(6meals/day), I saw changes in my strenght. The next week, I quit my "girlie" aeorobic gym and joined a hardcore, more "manly" gym. This motivated me a lot.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel strong, gives me energy, not to mention the fact that my clothes have never fit better!
How I Stay Motivated:
I have no choice...quitting is not an option. I visualize how I want to look, than give myself some "tough love" and stay focused! This site is a HUGE help.

10 years of 2 hours a day of cardio, 2 marathons a year, and still can't lose the fat!

I was a victim of horrible crimes many years ago. After 4 long, painful years of the not-so-great Canadian justice system, I can finally close this chapter and proudly say that the criminal is locked up, and boy does justice taste sweet. This is not a blog to solicit pity in any way.
Hey Sparkie! Just dropping by to say I hope you're having a great weekend! I love going to the gym on Sat. and Sun. because I'm not ever rushed. Getting ready to head there now. I have no idea if you're a mom or not, but if you are, Happy Mother's Day!
Hmmm nope sure didn't get them??? Hope your doing well. Just recovered from a hamstring injury and hittin hard. Summer is right around the corner and I still ain't ripped. Time to put the cardio in overdrive...UGH DID I MENTION I HATE CARDIO LOL! Have a great weekend Sparkilicious *wink*

My friend is coming into town, so we are reuniting as the Shirtless Heroes on Rock Band. I admit it sounds kind of gay, but its so freakin fun. Also probably going to overdose from Grand Theft Auto 4. One of the best games ever. Made over $500 million in sales in its first week. Hopefully I make it to the gym this weekend too. Your plans?
