When I Started: Sep, 2006
How I Started: Fitness has always been a part of my daily life. For years, I worked out 12 to 20 hours a week, mainly cardio, long-distance running and aerobic classes. I enjoyed the endurance work and it made me feel good. I also enjoyed the fact that I talked myself into all the extra calories which I figured I deserved since I spent so many hours at the gym! So, I learned to accept the extra pounds.

I had no idea that what I was doing was actually FORCING my body fat to stay on! Then, I discovered...weights! (why was I SO scared of them?!!)The 1st thing I would have to do is 1000% change my diet.( I was only eating 2 large meals a day) After only ONE WEEK of perfect clean diet(6meals/day), I saw changes in my strenght. The next week, I quit my "girlie" aeorobic gym and joined a hardcore, more "manly" gym. This motivated me a lot.
Why I Love It: It makes me feel strong, gives me energy, not to mention the fact that my clothes have never fit better!
How I Stay Motivated: I have no choice...quitting is not an option. I visualize how I want to look, than give myself some "tough love" and stay focused! This site is a HUGE help.

What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
someone who mistakes the gym for a CLUB!!! IT's a GYM, work out!!!

itsy little workout outfits! I worked hard to fit into it, I've earned it! Plus you get to see your form in the mirror, more comfortable, etc.

Can't believe it, but it will be soon 2 years since I met(and fell in love with) ..weights!! My aniversary coming up, I thought I would do something special, so instead of signing up to do a comp, I booked a photo shoot and began the 'cutting' process 6 weeks ago. 4 more to go, and I'll submit...

Yeah, my daughter started school this week- second grade, so did my son- kindergarten. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster! Then on top of that I went back to school this week also! LOL! CRAZY!!! From a diet/training standing it was weak. I had xtra time off from work & didn't use it to kick ass at the gym. I did, however, get some really needed chill time w/my man. We've been on opposite schedules for the past month take a toll. How was your week?

i am ON TOP OF THE WORLD..My Friend..i have made Phenominal progress..will have to watch my Joints..at my Age..i know it is something to look out for..Probably land up with an EAS Joint Therapy Product..Yeah..Business was VERY slow this Month..The economy took a BASHING here for 2 MONTHS..Fuel went up 20 x in 2 Months..and SADLY it effects the Poor families MORE..i wish i could have a MAGIC wand of Hapiness and wealth and sew it in to these Poor families..We only grow..when we help others Grow..
