How I Started:
I was always athletic and had a lot of drive but it wasn't until I went to my boyfriends first competition when I thought to my self "hey, I can do that!" So I signed up for my first competition 4 months later!
Why I Love It:
I love the satisfaction I get from lifting heavy weights and pushing myself. Bodybuilding has given me a goal to work towards and it has motivated others in my gym to push a little harder and live a healthier lifestyle. And its not too bad that it makes your body look great! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep a journal of how many reps and at what weight I did from my last workouts. I never used to but I have really noticed that since I started journaling I have been able to lift heavier and with higher intensity. Also I frequent my favorite IFBB Pro Figure competitors' sites to see what caliber I am aiming for.
BB Accomplishments:
Doing my first competition was a huge endeavor for me... and wanting to do it again has proven that I can hang with the big boys. " If it was easy anyone could do it"

Goal (Long):
I competed in my first NPC competition June 30th, 2007 in class A. I came in pretty small. I think I actually lost too much muscle while dieting and I want to bring in a more toned conditioned package for my next competition. I would like to step on stage with at least 5 more pounds of muscle, which is alot for a girl standing at 5'1". As for a long long term goal...I would love to get my pro card(who doesn't right?), be sponsored by a great company and do fitness modeling since Im too short for any other kind :)

I like to let everyone know whats going on so Im not getting so many questions like " why are you eating that? why won't you come out to happy hour? why do you go to the gym so often?"
AND it keeps me in check if I am straying from my diet at all, the more people who are aware of my goals the more people I have to prove myself to in the end. What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
BCAAs to maintain healthy growth and strength of my muscle
Goat whey protein to feed my muscles
Glutamine during in my water or right after to prevent muscle damage

tapper carbs throughout the day no carbs past 5pm
You should really do the comp on april 25th with me! It's here in Tucson and you're already in great shape it can't hurt you. We can train together for it- and I have sponsors! You can get it on some of that with me..let me know
The expo is awesome, its a two day show. I've done the cup 3 times, best show in the NW. My next big contest is in Pittsberg PA. My tanning salon will be spray tanning at the Classic. I'm not competing until June + July.
