I realized I was not where I wanted to be. I lost enough weight over a single summer that close friends didn't recognize me when I went back to college. I let things slide over the years, and now I'm back.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing my body change. I've got a great body for this, because I can have one great workout and see a change the next morning.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't worry about motivation. Work out not because you feel good, but because it's what you do. You don't want to go to work, but you do. Firemen don't want to run into burning buildings, but that's what they do. Forget feelings and motivation, and do it!
BB Accomplishments:
I've lost 125 pounds so far. I've close enough to my next goal that I'm not even measuring pounds, I'm measuring inches and fat %.

I want to meet or exceed Army standards, and get below 26% body fat.
Goal (Long):
I have been working toward entering the Army as a chaplain. I am within a year of getting my Master's degree, and the only thing keeping me from getting in is around my waist.
Time Magazine had a cover story about exercise not making you thin. I was curious, so I read it. It correctly stated that people will not lose weight if they exercise a little and then eat more; the example was given of a couple of women who ran a mile, and then rewarded themselves with...
