When I turned 25 (Jan 2008), I was the heaviest that I've ever been. Not exactly how I imagined turning 25. As a result, I began cutting out certain fast foods and around mid-April 2008 I joined a nearby gym. I started strong and managed to work out 5 days/week for about 3 months. I then started a new job, moved and stayed lazy for almost a year. I am now back to working out regularly. Since September 2009, I've been going to the gym at least 3 times/week.
Why I Love It:
Other than being able to fit into my clothes again, I feel ten times more energized now. I also love seeing changes in my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
I picture what I could possibly look like and I also read other people's success stories.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
A mix between Beyonce, Gabrielle Union, & Jessica Biel. I like my curves so I would like to keep them (like Beyonce). However, I want to be toned and defined like Gabrielle. In my first post, I mentioned my current workout routine (7 min warm up, 20-30min strength, 20-30min cardio 5days/week). Right now I'm focused on losing fat and I would also like to get toned. Should I increase the amount of cardio that I'm doing? I was thinking that I'd do 3-days...

Wanting to lose weight and then finding the right program to follow to make it happen is difficult. I recommend the 12-week Body for Life program. I was able to lose over 50 lb’s, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 also in only 12 weeks.
