Earl, I noticed you are a gardner. Is it getting to be veggie season down it NC? Up here in da north, buds are just starting to peek out on the oaks. And the grass, which was covered by snow two weeks ago, is starting to show a hint of green. Anyway, I think growing your own food is a great way to stay motivated about eating right. I grew okra one year here in MN when it was really hot, but only had success with it once. Probably easy for you to grow where you're at.

I'm OK that there's a lot of people on here trying to make a buck selling supplements or their own fitness programs. I think there's a place for all that for people who want to make short-term changes in their bodies for a competition. I'm not into that, bud I do like the Bodyspace format for tracking my progress and seeing other people's success.

Hey Earl. Thanks for your note. Good to see another regular guy on this board who's trying to be healthy and look a little better. Reasonable life-long goals. I'd give up on this board if it were nothing but the guys chiseled from marble.

I would like to thank you for the inspiration to start and to get off my butt. This is a site I needed. I got up those pic’s, with my name out there. It is embarrassing knowing people out there we know can Google me, and see the nasty photos of me. So this, helps me to improve. But a big part is seeing people like yourself in my age group…. Shows there still is hope. With great strides with hard work and dedication, one can see muscle. Thank you for showing us all that. CvF
