I probably got the bug around the age of 13 from my dad. He used to work out with his steroid jacked friend all the time. I used to just observe and admire at that point. Years go by with the yearning of becoming stronger but I didn't understand how it all worked. I read lots of books on powerlifting and martial arts (because I am a kung-fu conouseur). Then at eighteen I joined the military and began running, and found that I had talent in that. Everyone was amazed on how fast I ran and was amazed I didn't get a college scholarship. So I ran harder. 3 years later, in Japan, I met my friend that got me started on lifting and I jumped up in weight quick. Also while there, I got into MMA, so I had to keep conditioned. Now I feel strong and closer to my father, but I want to become even stronger.
