I finished playing NCAA soccer for my university Christmas 2007. Now, I don't want to be one of those seniors that finish their sport, quit working out, and gain weight. I want to look like the athlete that I am!
Why I Love It:
It relaxes me, my day just doesn't feel complete without working out..i like to keep busy! Ever since i was a kid i've loved muscles (my own that is) I used to flex my biceps for my dad all the time! It terrified my mom when i would put a stool under the chin up bar in my basement, jump to catch the bar, and at 6 years old start doing pull ups, just for the fun of it. Not much has changed since then!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep track of how much weight I do and how many reps and each week I push myself to do better. I'm an extremely competitive person and i'm competing against myself!
BB Accomplishments:
210lbs squat one rep max (2007 spring)
2006 conference champions (soccer, not lifting)
woohoo! time to party...well no...i am preparing a 30 min biology presentation on IVM resistance in Cameroon...the week i get back...my soccer team plays LSU...i no longer play for SELU but due to spring season lack of players I'm probably making a guest appearance on the field...which...
Hey Lindsey; Congratulations on your NCAA soceer career. I was a swimmer and basketball player myself. Your pics look terrific. Good luck with your workout routine. Best regards, Scott
your legs and butt are making nice progess. Your back getting some serious muscle on it. Great job!! Have you tried the stairmaster with ankle weigths to firm you lower body?
i left UGA/Athens in 2002. I lived in the ATL until August '07 before moving to Orlando. Haven't coached in several years, but i am thinking about taking on some youth teams again.
