When I Started:
How I Started: In High School, The coach introduced us girls(basketball team) to weightlifting, I picked it up again after having my first child and been lifting every since.
Why I Love It: I love lifting because first and foremost it is my stress reliever. 2nd I love how you can change your body with lifting weights, it is too kewl!Last and not least..
The body is so amazingly resilient, I love that!
How I Stay Motivated: Just love what lifting does for my body.

Goal (Short): Get down to a leaner 130-135lbs, I wont have to lose as much when getting ready for a show.
Goal (Long): Trying to lean out my legs as well as keep the muscle. Get my weight down to 130-135. I need more practice on my posing as well.

My niece called me today to wish me a happy birthday and stated that I was just going over the 40 mark, I was like "Not quite true, I did that last yr!! LOL

Hey lady! How goes it? Training is going well, I think. I am 15 weeks out and just try to keep my focus and lift heavy--that's it. Oh, and I try to stay busy on those low carb days!
