In High School, The coach introduced us girls(basketball team) to weightlifting, I picked it up again after having my first child and been lifting every since.
Why I Love It:
I love lifting because first and foremost it is my stress reliever. 2nd I love how you can change your body with lifting weights, it is too kewl!Last and not least..
The body is so amazingly resilient, I love that!
How I Stay Motivated:
Just love what lifting does for my body.

I'm good, hanging in there girl! I had 2 great workouts today, well my am cardio was so-so, but my evening workout was really good. so i'm happy about that! eating today has been good, weekend was crappy! I'm gonna pm you later though! :)
awww! I'm so happy that you like it! how are you today? good, i hope! i'm good. today is all protein! i just had a shake and 4 eggs for breakfast and i did my am cardio, 30 min of jumping rope. i burned like 550 calories! lol! how are your workouts coming along?

Girl, God is GOOD! Man, I'm just in AWW of what he did. Really! i feel good, i've been fasting from sun up till sun down, so i haven't really been over eating, but Monday i start back w/ all my meals..i've decided-to stay away from alot of carbs, only eat them at the first 2 meals.
hooooney, i'm not sure if youre a believer but let me tell you, one touch from the good Lord and it's gone, physical cravings and all! AMAZING! I woke up this morning in tears, cause i dont have a desire or craving! i just chew straws and chew gum, drink sooooooo much water and run like hell. i feel good! lol!

Just starting back on the stick the holidays murdered me and it was so worth it with loved ones. Starting back the cardio 3 days and lifting/toning 2-3 days a week. Biggest commitment is the diet. How is your program working?
yeah, i said quit smoking. i havent smoked in almost 2 days, it seems like eternity. all i can do is cry and pray and keep on going. i'm okay now though. i woke up 3 times in the middle of th night for one.. terrible..but i got up rested and worked out for 45 min, then i'll hit it tonight again. how are you
